Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 June 2026

These terms apply when you use kakifix.com or engage KakiFix for repair, maintenance or renovation work in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. By requesting a quote or booking work, you agree to them.

Estimates and pricing

Prices shown on this website, including totals from the online calculator, are market-rate estimates — not binding quotations. Your final price is confirmed with you on WhatsApp (or in writing) before any work starts, and will reflect the actual condition of the job site.

A minimum trip charge applies per visit, and rates for high-rise properties may carry a surcharge — both are shown in the calculator before you confirm. There are no hidden charges: anything not in the agreed price is quoted before it is done.

Quotes, scheduling and payment

Work is scheduled once you accept the final quote. For larger jobs we may ask for a deposit, which is stated in the quote. Payment is due as agreed in the quote — typically on completion for small jobs, or in stages for renovation work.

Workmanship warranty

Our workmanship is covered by a 30-day warranty from the date the job is completed. If a defect arises from our workmanship within this period, we will repair it at no charge. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, third-party alterations, normal wear and tear, or defects in materials supplied by you. Manufacturer warranties apply to fixtures and appliances we install.

Cancellations and changes

You may cancel or reschedule a visit free of charge with reasonable notice. If our team has already arrived on site when a job is cancelled, the minimum trip charge applies. Changes to agreed work are re-quoted before we proceed.

Our liability

We carry out all work with reasonable skill and care. We are responsible for damage directly caused by our negligence, but not for pre-existing defects, hidden conditions (such as concealed pipes or wiring not disclosed to us), or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

Your responsibilities

Please provide accurate information about the job, arrange access to the property (including any management or security approvals for high-rise units), and let us know about known hazards or hidden services before work starts.

Website content

Guides and prices on this site are provided for general information and are updated periodically. They are not a substitute for an on-site assessment of your specific job.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Malaysia.
